Air Conditioning

I knew I was forgetting to write something in today's entry! When I woke up yesterday morning I found the cups I had placed on the floor almost full of water that had dripped from the ceiling overnight. On the way to the office, I stopped at the front desk to inform them of the problem.

I had to run back to the room at lunch to grab my passport so that the passport expert at work could try to do something about the 30 day limit on my stay, and found that they cups had been moved into the bathroom sink, the towels were still on the floor, but there were more rags laying around the sink. I had turned off the air conditioner in the morning, so there was no more dripping. But no sign of workmen, either.

After work I found the room cleaned up, the carpet only very slightly damp, and the ceiling re-plastered over where they paint had peeled because of the water. I also think last night that my air conditioner was cooling better than it has since I arrived. To bad I only have one more night left in this room!
