Tania in China

This blog will record my discoveries, observations, and revelations as I spend 10 weeks in Nanjing, China working on a major software installation for Ford of China. I am hoping to have time to do a lot of travelling over the weekends I am there, as well as to spend quite a bit of time getting to know Nanjing. The rough outline of my trip is as follows:
October 5th: Fly from Detroit to Beijing via Tokyo. 17 hours, 15 minutes in the air, and a 1 hour, 30 minute layover. Arrive Oct 6th at 9:30pm
October 6th: Overnight in Beijing
October 7th: Fly from Beijing to Nanjing. 1 hour, 35 minute flight
October 9th: Report for work bright and early!

December 14th: Fly from Beijing to Nanjing in the evening, then overnight in Beijing.
December 15th: Fly from Beijing to Detroit via Tokyo. 15 hours, 10 minutes in the air, and a 2 hour layover. Arrive Dec 15th at 1:20pm.

I will be spending all of the time between now and my flight packing, wrapping up loose ends at work, and getting my house ready for my being gone for so long. I am going to be busy!
