Last post until Tuesday

I have decided not to take my laptop with me to Beijing, so this will be my last post until Tuesday. I am planning to blog long and hard when I get back to I can post my whole trip report and photos of Beijing before I leave for Hong Kong next Friday. I think I have some long nights ahead of me! My tentative plans for sightseeing right now are:
Saturday: Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City
Sunday: The Great Wall at Mutianyu
Monday: The Temple of Heaven and shopping

I am also now thinking of adding the zoo. I hadn't planned to go, but I just found out there was a baby panda born at the beginning of August, so if we are able to see the baby, I think I will go.

I am also thinking about having Peking Duck one night, then I can add it to the list of other travel food I have experienced:
Danish in Denmark
French fries in France
Hamburger in Hamburg
Weiner in Vienna (the German name of the city is Wein)
Belgian Waffle in Belgium
(Peking is the old name for Beijing).
